PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes the policies governing the collection, use, and disclosure of information that Jobonomics, LLC, a California limited liability company (“Jobonomics”), collects and receives, including information relating to your past use of the Jobonomics’s web site (the “Site”) and services.

The Site may provide links to other external web sites over which we have no control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information which you provide to those other web sites, and we are not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other web sites.

Updates to this Privacy Policy

Jobonomics may update this policy at any time by posting the amended policy on the Site and/or by sending a notice to the email address you provided. Your continued use of the Site shall constitute your consent to such changes and you will be subject to the then-current Privacy Policy.

Collection and Use of Information

We gather information via the Site, including personal, demographic, collective and technical information, in order to deliver certain products and services which you have requested and to improve the content and general administration of the Site. With your consent, we may also use the information to send you notices for other products or services that may be of interest to you. Jobonomics does not sell or share the information with other people or nonaffiliated companies except when we have your permission or under the following circumstances:

(1) We may use the information to send you notices regarding updates on the Site, additional job postings that may be of interest to you, informational newsletters, promotions and information on new opportunities listed on the Site.
(2) We may occasionally contact you about your opinion of current products and services or potential new products and services that may be offered. Participation in such surveys is voluntary.
(3) Any feedback you submit via the Site becomes our property, and Jobonomics is entitled to use, distribute, publish or display such feedback for marketing purposes. Jobonomics may also contact you for further information concerning your feedback.
(4) Anonymous information about visitors may be shared with our clients, partners and other third parties to the extent necessary to allow them to understand the kinds of visitors to the Site and how those visitors use the Site.
(5) Data regarding job qualifications, education, age, experience level or other information relevant to the job search or competition among seekers for any such job may be made available to employers or other job seekers on an anonymous basis.
(6) We may disclose the information to third parties to an extent reasonably necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, violations of Jobonomics’s Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law.
(7) We may respond to any subpoenas or court orders and we may establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against any legal claims against us.
(8) The information you provide may be transferred to another company if Jobonomics is acquired by or merged with that company.

Collection and Use of Information through Other Host Sites

Jobonomics may collaborate with other companies to make the Jobonomics’s content and/or services available via their web sites (“Host Sites”). Personal and/or demographic information you provided to Host Sites will be included in the Jobonomics’s database, and we will handle such information received or gathered via Host Sites subject to this Privacy Policy.

On the other hand, information gathered via Host Sites or a web site co-sponsored by Jobonomics and another company may become the property of the other company as well as of Jobonomics. The use of such information by the other company will be subject to the privacy policy of that company. We are not responsible for that company's use of your personal or demographic information.

Personal Information on Resumes and Profiles

You can upload and save your resume to the Site to be searched by potential employers. You will be able to control the accessibility of your resume by other parties with the following three options:

  1. You can save your resume to the Site and apply for a job online, but restrict any access by other parties including potential employers.
  2. You can set your resume to be searchable without disclosing any contact information. All parties with access privilege to Jobonomics’s resume database will have access to your resume. Portions of your searchable resume, but without your contact information, may be made public in your profile.
  3. If you apply for a job online via the Site, the employer to whom you send your resume will receive your contact information, regardless of the confidentiality level to which you have set at the time of uploading your resume.
We attempt to limit access to your personal information stored in Jobonomics’s resume database to employers, recruiters, and human resource staffs, as well as law enforcement and national security agencies, whom we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to offer employments or hiring services to you or in order to do their jobs. We may employ procedural and technological measures to help protect your personally identifiable information from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, we CANNOT guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your information for improper purposes. You may remove your resume or profile on the Site at anytime, but, parties who have gained access may have retained a copy of your resume or profile in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of resumes or profiles saved to the Site.

Posting to Public Areas of Jobonomics

Any of your personal information posted in public areas of Jobonomics may be accessed, collected and used by others over whom we exercise no control. We are not responsible for use by third parties of information you post in public areas of Jobonomics.

General

If you apply for a position on Jobonomics or through Host Sites, you may be asked to provide information on your gender, race or other protected status where permitted by applicable law. Some employers are required by law to gather such information for reporting and record-keeping requirements. Providing this information is entirely voluntary. This information, if provided, will not be used in making any negative employment decision, nor will you be subject to any adverse action or treatment if you choose not to provide. This information, if provided, will be kept separate from your employment applications.

You can review, edit or delete any of your personal information that you have provided to us at any time by accessing your account.
